A sportstalk show here in Denver yesterday was talking about all the buzz around the Prime hire. They said they haven't seen so much excitement and optimism from Colorado sports fans since Nathaniel Hackett was hired by the Broncos. Burn!!!!!!

The end of an era. I'm kind of sad. Coach Ken was perfect for the Naval Academy. Likely no one will be as good as him going forward. Pretty sure the services academies don't do NIL since those boys are all property of Uncle Sam.

4-10 against his rivals lately. After 2 really bad years, that's not going to keep anyone but Pat Fitzgerald and Ferentz employed.
Some real stinkers when there's no Keenan Reynolds or Malcolm Perry to do everything.

I'd like to see them
a. Compete in Patriot League across the board, or
b. If they must continue in DI-A, abandon triple option for air raid.

And true with NIL, but they're not competitive on recruiting anyway for a variety of obvious reasons.
Requires an act of SecNav to be in the NFL.. and that policy changes yearly it seems. Especially with Presidents. If you have ANY shot at NFL, don't go to a service academy.
Then throw in academics. Other life difficulties that comes with service academies. etc etc etc

I think the service academies, or at least Army and Navy, would be a good fit in the Ivy League. Not sure the Ivy League would agree to that, though.
