Brantley (safe to call him the best offensive player we have this year, he continues to prove it) Beats Detoilet with a walkoff HR in the 10th (after Cody Allen blows a save in the 9th

They can beat the Tigers in a year where they are otherwise shitty.....imagine that

Santana and Swisher are supposed to be "power bats"

Santana .148 AVG 5 HR 13 RBI .277 SLG%
Swisher .204 AVG 3 HR 17 RBI .317 SLG%

thats 8 HRs and 30 RBIs so far (45 games in) from the supposed Big Sticks (not to mention the abysmal AVGs and Mediocre SLG%).....not gonna cut it

David Murphy is turning out to be a decent signing ill say though, hitting .291 (360 OBP) with 25 RBI thus far, not a huge power bat by any means but he has been getting the job done, better so then the above mentioned.

Brantley has more HR and RBI then Swisher and Santana combined.....

it should be noted that Ryan Raburn has been a flop so far this year too....guy has 0 HR and 8 RBI in 28 games while hitting .195. The guy got an extension after having a somewhat decent year last year but has beeen a total turd in 2014

Unless Santana and Swisher pull their heads out of their asses I wouldnt expect much from this team.....those 2 absolutely must start hitting a lot better for there to be any kind of putting this season together, kipnis needs to pick up his play when he returns as well

I have no idea why he is playing. Well, I have an idea but I just do not think he should be playing when we have younger guys who need some experience.

Bauer needs to stay in Cleveland and they should send McAllister or someone else down to Columbus or wherever.it is sort of like Salazar.. I had no idea what he is going to learn in the minors because he just dominates down here.

while it should happen it never will because he is Francona's third favorite player right behind Swisher and Giambi. I have no idea why he is still in the starting lineup and even more what took Francona so long to move them out of the cleanup position.
