Its just the Indians way. Amazing how veteran major leaguers firget how to even play simple defense when the heat is on. And the worst ABs you can have. Watching pitches right down the middle and then hacking at any garbage out. Of the zone

Yeah, pretty crazy how the team that went to Game 7 of the World Series just last year is the one that clenched up, and the other team layer calm and cool, even when down 2 games to none.

Man, I know I/we all joke in this thread, but goddamn. This disappointment just hurts. I want so badly for Cleveland to win a championship. So bad. For the city, for myself, for my dad. And I'd prefer it be the Tribe.
Maybe the Browns next.
The Cavs were just something that popped up and damn I was emotional for that, but it's not baseball. I love this sport. I hate losing...and I hate losing 3 in a row again ('07, '16, '17). I got nothing. Defeated. Sports seriously suck so much.

I mean, in a sport where you watch guys 162 times. It's crazy. Then all of a sudden, they aren't those guys (Kluber). Does not make sense to watch it collapse for 3 straight games...again.
That's not how baseball averages work, yet...Cleveland.

Right there with you, brother. I was the dumb-fuck kid back in 1976 that basically got his drivers license for the simple fact to be able to drive to old Cleveland Stadium and watch them lose game after game. But get this, sports don't suck. Losing sucks, and this outcome sucked but it was a great ride this season. Baseball is the most beautiful game in the world because not only CAN the worst team BEAT the best team, but they do it multiple times a year. One just never knows.

No better day, than a day at the ballpark*. Honest to god, I can watch batting practice to guys throwing pitch and catch on a nice summer day and feel at peace.
I'll keep following sports, it's who I am and what I connect most with in this crazy world. Keep learning to take the good with the bad and enjoy these summers, I suppose.

The "they had a good year" people crack me up. Wimning 102 games means literally nothing when you crap yourself in the first round. No it was not much of a good year.
As for "next year" even if they avoid the inevitable let down year theyll only soil themselves in the playoffs again.
