If anybody has hope, it's their own damn fault. They will shit the bed. FACT.So, these fucking assholes are giving people hope before ripping their hearts out of their chests? Fuck these [Mark May]ty cocksuckers.
My post isn't only in response to JCOSU86, because this was the prevalent opinion at the time.Bauer needs to take his fucking drone-ass somewhere else.
Year | Win% | ERA | WHIP |
---|---|---|---|
1 | .000 | 6.10 | 1.742 |
2 | .500 | 5.63 | 1.750 |
3 | .375 | 5.87 | 1.640 |
4 | .375 | 4.84 | 1.600 |
5 | .167 | 8.54 | 2.357 |
6 | .667 | 5.54 | 1.815 |
Total | .420 | 5.79 | 1.750 |
So, he's trash is what you're saying then. Got it. Just making sure.My post isn't only in response to JCOSU86, because this was the prevalent opinion at the time.
Let's take a look at another pitcher who had some problems early in his career:
So who is this bum, who through his first six seasons had a losing record with a combined ERA of 5.79 and a combined WHIP of 1.750?
Year Win% ERA WHIP 1 .000 6.10 1.742 2 .500 5.63 1.750 3 .375 5.87 1.640 4 .375 4.84 1.600 5 .167 8.54 2.357 6 .667 5.54 1.815 Total .420 5.79 1.750
None other than our own Andrew Miller, who is now one of the best pitchers in the game. Even though Miller is virtually un-hittable now, his career ERA is still 3.97 and his career WHIP is still 1.338 because he was so damned bad early in his career. In fact it wasn't until his 9th season (2014) at age 29 that Miller became the lights out pitcher that he is today.
The lesson? You don't give up easily on pitchers with live arms. Has Bauer, now age 26 and in his 6th season, finally realized the potential that made him the #3 overall pick in the 2011 draft? Let's hope so, because the kid has Cy Young stuff if he can keep his head straight.
Yeah, that was a good call by me.My post isn't only in response to JCOSU86, because this was the prevalent opinion at the time.
