Indians go down 6-0 early, come back to take a 9-7 lead, then the bullpens blow another game: Final score Twins 10, Indians 9

In 97 games this season, Twins outfielder Torii Hunter has 92 hits in 369 at-bats (.249 BA) with 52 runs, 16 doubles, 18 home runs, and 60 RBI.

In just 6 games against the Indians, Hunter has 12 hits in 26 at-bats (.462 BA) with 10 runs, 4 doubles, 4 home runs, and 12 RBI.

In those six games, Hunter has 7% of his at-bats, but 13% of his hits, 25% of his doubles, 22.2% of his home runs, and 20% of his RBI's. Unreal.

Anyone got a goat for this?

I remember when the American League was just the American League back in the 50s and 60s before they started splitting into divisions and the Indians always would have pretty good teams back them but they would always lose to those fucking Yankees except in 1954.. That is why I hate those fuckers so much and will continue to do so until I am 6 feet under or whenever.

Ken Rosenthal is reporting that Mark Shapiro is the favorite to become the new team president in Toronto. Situation bears watching because Alex Anthopolous, the Blue Jays' current GM, is in the last year of his deal. Shapiro could leave for Toronto and bring Antonetti with him to serve as Jays GM. If that happens, you can say goodbye to Francona.
