People saying that Cleveland isn't a title contender are crazy IMO. They had the best record in the East when the conference was stronger with poorer support around LeBron.
I fully expect them to be a 55-60 win team next year.
Lot of variables in trying to project wins for this team next season...especially right now, as the roster isn't even set. The 2009/2010 Cavs teams didn't have as much raw talent, but they had a lot of chemistry, which is huge. It's looking like there are going to be a lot of new pieces this season, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are some struggles the first couple of months of the season. 50 wins would be a good starting point, but that can be adjusted based on whether or not Love is Cleveland bound. One thing LeBron has the ability to do is elevate the game of those around him. So, even if they don't get a Kevin Love, how much improvement can be expected out of guys like Bennett, Thompson, Waiters, Kyrie, etc.?
