Really impressed with Waiters...may not show on stat sheet tonight but he is doing really well on both sides of the floor

Hopefully it's just that Chris Grant is a lot better at evaluating talent and finding the BPA than everyone here. It does seem like he has a pretty good plan to build the team. They just need to get lucky and find the SF to fill out the starting 5.

On a side note it is going to be hard to win games if Andy and Zeller aren't playing.

and it's the exact reason they need to trade AV. What he gives you when on the court is great for cleveland, but he's just not on the court enough. if they can get him healthy for a long stretch of games and get his value up, they need to trade him. the longer they hold him, the more diminishing the return in both trade value, and draft position.

It would address our biggest need x2 except I would look for them to end up with a pick around 8 and another in the 15-20 range. As we found this year they don't seem to want to bring in more than 2 maybe 3 draft picks.

If they end up trading Andy they are going to need to find another C somewhere so I'd say they'd take 3 first round picks.

Absolutely brutal loss. I'd rather be blown out like the Chicago game.

at least dion waiters was a beast. however, cj miles has officially taken antawn jamisons spot as the chucker that drives the tank to the lottery. of course, if all refs let kyrie get beat like that and don't blow the whistle, it will be a long year.

Well they need to lose so if a guy like Miles gets them there all the better. All that matters is that Irving, Waiters, Thompson, and Zeller continue to develop. If Gibson can have more shooting games like last night they might be able to move him to a contender although I don't see much bonus in picking up another second round pick. Maybe they could pull a Jiri Welsh and trade for a first round pick 5 years down the road.
