I think the bench thing is a little overrated myself. But there isn't much on this guy because he only played a little over half a game on average. He didn't work out. He didn't interview. What is Chris Grant thinking?
It's clear to me that the worst case scenario came to pass for the Cavs, and they weren't prepared for it. How else can you explain picking a guy who the team did no significant per-draft homework on?
The Cavs are like the guy in the fantasy football draft who tells everybody the plan on taking either Rodgers, Brady or Brees with their first pick. Then when they find themselves on the clock and all their guys are gone they just blurt out the first name that comes to mind and end up with Sebastian Janikowski as their first round pick.
