I bet he could have even started for Penn State. So there's that.

I think the bench thing is a little overrated myself. But there isn't much on this guy because he only played a little over half a game on average. He didn't work out. He didn't interview. What is Chris Grant thinking?

He wouldn't be able to say that with a straight face regardless of who the Cavs drafted tonight. If he could, he should be out of a job.

He played the 5th most minutes, averaged 2nd on the team in scoring, 3rd in assists, 1st in steals.

A Cleveland team panicking and bungling a draft pick? Nah. Never happen.


For some reason a quote from one of my favorite movies sprung to mind about twenty minutes ago in regards to the cavs draft:

"It's like, how much more black could this be? and the answer is none. None more black."

No sure things in this draft outside of Davis and MKG. Barnes, Waiters, Drummond all crap shoots. Now trading two early seconds and 24 for Tyler Zeller - that's just plain stupid. Big skinny white guys don't have a good track record in the NBA. I'll take 3 chances to get lucky over 1.
