Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

McRae go bye bye

Knowing that they were likely going to bring in more than one guy I'm surprised Grif didn't try to move JMac so they they don't have to cut him. Seems like someone would have given a second rounder for him. I'm not 100% how waivers work, but I'd guess JMac doesn't make it through and the Cavs don't have to pay the rest of his salary or tax. He's cheap enough someone will take a flyer on him. I honestly would rather see what Sanders has left in the tank than keep JMac on the pine for the rest of the season if Bogut decides to sign someplace else.

Remember when NO ONE wanted to come to Cleveland, and LeBron left because of it? Amazing what an NBA title will do to draw players in.
I get what you are saying but these guys aren't exactly in the prime of their career... they are on the down side...they fill a roll but lets not act like all the sudden players in their prime are all the sudden flocking to the Land.

Hopefully Warriors fans hate Bogut as much during the Finals as we did Andy last year as long as we win again. It's fun to go from no depth to a ton of depth over a few weeks. There are going to be some minute battles leading up to the playoffs.

Kyrie, JR, Lebron, Love, TT
Deron W, Korver, Shump, Derrick W, Frye
RJ, Bogut

A slump by anyone outside of the starters could knock any of them out of the rotation. Even JR might find his minutes limited if he can't knock the rust off.

They may not be in the prime of their careers, but they had their choice of teams essentially (those that were interested), and they chose Cleveland.

Donyell Marshall, Eric Snow, Larry Hughes, and Drew Gooden were Lebron's playmakers in his first stint. Let that sink in.

Deron Williams is pretty much the same age as Lebron. Not a spring chicken, but not over the hill. I don't think anyone would argue the Bogut isn't a step up from Birdman. Derrick Williams is still trying to find his prime, but has looked better with the Cavs than at any point of his career. Korver, RJ, and Frye are all in their twilight, but the Cavs have stars to carry the load. They need players that can give them a strong 15-20 minutes a game and their roster will be 13 deep with guys that fit the bill.

Looking forward to seeing what Bogut and Deron can bring to an already talented roster. Derrick Williams has already exceeded my expectations. He loves getting alley-oop lobs, which could be huge with the attention opposing teams will pay to Kyrie and LeBron. This year's playoffs should be pretty entertaining.

IMO, the worst part of recovering from a hyperextension...
is the fear it will happen again cuz many times you did nothing that 'caused' the first one
it was a freak accident .. so in the back of your head you remember that

The fact that they are doing what they are with Calderon in order to immediately sign Matt Barnes leads me to believe Durant may have a little more than just a hyperextension.
