Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

The Cavs looked great today, but the bench depth is definitely a huge concern to me. Only eight guys played today. They need to give the young guys a shot or trade for some depth. LeBron and Kyrie both played more than 40 minutes. I get that this is one of the only two regular season games that matter to this team, but that can't happen.

I will say I'm incredibly impressed with Liggins, though. Curry was held to 15, and at least 3 of that came while Liggins was on the bench. I was actually upset when they sent Shump in during crunch time. I think he's the most obvious trade candidate.

I'm not worried about depth right now. In the Finals they would only need to go 8 deep and JR is out. When they play tomorrow I'd look for Felder and McRae to get significant minutes with Lebron and Kyrie being limited. I think they have depth that just needs some experience to see if they need to make a move closer to the deadline.

Biggest key against the Warriors is to stay close and let them choke it away at the end. They might be the greatest offensive team in NBA history, but none of them are closers. Kyrie has more closing magic in his pinkie than the whole Warriors team.

I think it may have been better for the Cavs to lose (perhaps badly) for that reason. I want this Warriors team as over-confident as possible heading into the Finals.

The Warriors are mentally fragile. Beat them in the Finals after a historic collapse and both meetings during the season and they'll be our bitch. Not one finisher on that roster. Only reason they came back against the Thunder last year is because KD is the biggest bitch of them all.
