Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

First time in 40 years the Cavs have started off 5-0. They are the lone remaining unbeaten team in the NBA.

Also, one made basket tomorrow night against the Sixers will move LeBron past Hakeem Olajuwon and into the top 10 of the NBA's career scoring leaders list.

What an amazing Day! I think this is exactly what President Obama needed after the past few crazy days, as well as his "meeting" this morning. Love him or hate him, The President is a HUGE hoops fan and I'm sure he appreciated today as much as the Cavs players and staff did. I've always liked President Obama's approach to his having Championship teams come to the White House because it's never a political forum. It's always been basically a kid from Chicago hang'in with sports personalities that he's a fan of. Barry (as his high school hoops coach refers to him as) is a pretty cool dude. After his Presidential term ends, he should rent himself out by the hour to appear at regular peoples backyard bbq's. Seriously, how cool would it be to have him in your backyard, or on your deck, sipping a beer and munching on a burger or dog and sharing the past 8 years of his life with you?

Peace

Kevin Love with a team-record 34 points in the first quarter on 11/14 shooting (8/10 on 3-pointers) against Portland. Cavs lead 46-31 at the end of one.

EDIT: Love's 34-point performance is the second-best quarter in NBA history, behind Klay Thompson's 37-point effort.

Channing Frye hits 4 of 5 from 3-point range in the 2nd quarter, Cavs on fire all around.

Cavs with 81 points in the first half, two points shy of the team record.

That game alone for Love took his 3pt% from 31 to 37 lol
He was shooting the worst percentage behind Frye 48%, Kyrie 40%, JR 39%, and Lebron 36%
Love must have seen that stat chart and got pissed off. That game shows why this guy is invaluable to this team.
What other 6-10 guy in this league can do that? See his shot chart? He can strike from anywhere at anytime.

Shooting guards cant even do what he just did.

And he was on again tonight. He's having a great year and if that continues, I can see a repeat. LBJ is totally coasting right now. Love it!
