Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

I don't know how well capitalized the Dolans are, but Randy Lerner is in no need of more cash.

It's hard not to make money in the NFL. Didn't only one team not make money last year? MLB is a losing bet in a small market unless blowing millions on the Tribe would make billions in the casino I don't see it happening. I'm sure the Indians putting asses in the seats would be more profitable for Gilbert than it would be fore the Dolan's.

Dolan is making plenty of coin off the indians, don't be fooled. many small market teams pocket the revenue distributions and cry poverty while citing ticket sales and payroll. it's a sham for quite a few of them, cleveland being one.

My point was, Randy's dad Al, was Forbes Fortune Four Hundred. I don't think he could have cared less if the Browns made a dime. What could a man that rich want that he didn't have.

I'm under the impression, the Dolans have to watch the bottom with the Tribe.

Ok, another decent night for the Cavs, lottry-wise. The Clippers lost at Atlanta, meaning the Lakers clinch the division and will probably rest their starters in Sacramento for their last game. The Cavs need to find a way to lose tonight (maybe Luke Walton and Omri Casspi getting 25 in of pt) and most certainly lose tomorrow in Chicago. Even though they're trying to tank also, Sacramento would love nothing better than starting and ending this season with wins againts the Lakers.

The Hornets also beat Golden State last night, dropping them into a tie with the Cavs (if we lose tonight). The Hornets finish up with a Houston team that has been playing like shit lately.

Bottom line is if Cavs lose last two and N.O. and Sacramento win, then the Cavs can finish third alone. If those two teams lose and Cavs lose, then we'll still be in a three way tie for third, going into the lottery.

this is the pivotal game of the year.

a win and cleveland can end up picking as low as 7th or 8th with some bad lottery luck.

the good news is that the bulls need to win out to try and get the top overall seed and have homecourt in the nba finals, so, they may not actually sit everybody on thursday.

really, kyrie needs to come down with the flu or something. i'd sit everybody and start the albino lineup of semi erden, luke harangody, omri casspi, luke walton, and i guess donald sloan. the only good thing is washington is locked into the #2 record, so they have no motivation to lose, and winning some down the stretch gives them some hope.

What the fuck happened to Luke Walton. He looks about 30 pounds heavier than I remember him and god was he worthless in the 10 minutes I watched the other night.

He used to be a decent enough player, right?

He's a major turd now, a perfect Cavs bench player, if you will.

Fortunately, the Bulls play nearly as well without Rose and their bench is
pretty darn strong. Even if their starters sit, they're still winning.

he messed up his back and knees pretty good. he'll probably be retired by the end of next year.
