Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

That being said, there won't be a 3 team tie. The cavs will screw up and win two games down the stretch. it's just their style.

out of the games remaning i could see them beating DC and the Spurs if poppavich basically sits the entire starting 5 and half the bench...otherwise we will not win any of those other remaining games

Yeah, really worried about that Spurs game. Hopefully Scott says Irving needs to 'rest' and take that night off.

did you guys watch this game? cleveland legitimately tried to tank. lester hudson is with memphis. luke harangody played substantial minutes, and antawn jamison shot terrible.

cleveland did everything in its power to lose. the knicks are just that bad. how they have the 7 seed is a total indication as to how bad the east really is.

on a separate tanking note, quite frankly, cleveland is a better team than just about everybody picking top 10 this year. the kings might have more talent. maybe. for cleveland to tank their way into what will likely be the #5 spot is a testiment to the tanking process.

Yep, the Knicks just suck, especially whe they play in Cleveland. I think the Knicks were the last team the Cavs beat last year, before they went on that nearly 2 month losing streak. Marsh-melo is so overrated it's not even funny. Novak does nothing but shoot 3's, no defense, no other offense. Wait, he does do the Aaron Rodgers move when he hits a three. I thought with /amare coming back last night, the Knicks would win. They stink. The mecca of basketball or not, that franchise is a train wreck.

On the bright side, the #5 spot is the spot that historically gets moved up in the lottery. We gotta look for some good news.

We prefer that Detroit loses, meaning the Raptors won. Either way, the Sac win was big, now the Cavs need to lose out. Fortunately, the Bullets are playing decently.

I'm guessing the Kings need to win one more and the Cavs need to lose out in order for the Cavs to get the 4th spot in the lottery since the Kings beat the Cavs in their one meeting. The Hornets beat the Cavs and are only 1 game behind in the win column now so one more win from them would push the Cavs up a spot. If Irving is going to sit again this season please let it be against the Wizards. It would be good if Scott could talk Jamison into a 1 for 20 night as well. Is it point shaving if you don't put money on the game?

I thinner losing in this case is better. A head to head win for Sacramento means that they would be five and we would be four because we had a comparably worse regular season.

I thought I read, if there was a tie, that the balls would just be divided up between the teams, if there are an odd combination of balls, then the extra would go to the team that won a coin flip pre-lottery. In short, no tiebreakers needed, except for an extra combination.

I doubt Sacramento wins again this season, unless a team rests their starters for the playoffs.

Yes, but if both teams do not get top 3, they need to be slotted. I feel like they flipped a coin for this as well in past years but I could easily be wrong..
