Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Curry's whole attitude has been very off putting to me. He all of a sudden has this arrogant almost too casual appearance.....where is the fire? where is the passion? I get at least some of that from Klay, but the Warriors just have no heart. You'd think Bogut might be that guy but he's struggled so much and not out there enough to be that. Where is the cockiness of Green? They've melted mentally from the pressure of the Finals, the only guys bringing the attitude/heart are Iggy and to some extent Livingston.

If golden state has to rely on iguodala barbosa and Lee to carry the offensive load for the rest of the series, they will be disappointed.

But I love the immediate post game reaction from the media being that Cleveland needs to be worried now after how game 3 ended.

The thing about Curry is he averages 24 pts a game. What we saw from him in the 4th quarter last night was the best that he can play and the kind of outburst that won him the MVP, but it isn't his standard. Thompson had a similar run in game 2 and JR is capable of having one of those crazy everything he throws up goes in quarters or halves as well. They need to pump Delly full of fluid and get him ready to roll for 40 minutes tomorrow. Sure Curry can shoot more efficiently all game than he has been, but I don't think he's going to be throwing up 60pts the next 3 games with the crazy shooting we saw in the 4th. If he does come out hot I'd do anything I can to get him to drive and let Mozzy, TT, or Perk give him a couple "good hard NBA fouls". It's probably time for Delly to pull his shenanigans on Green and get him kicked out of a game and suspended for 1, but the Cavs might be better off with Green in the game than Lee.

We need JR or someone else to step up in game 4. I doubt we can count on Delly hitting as many shots as he did last night from here on out so it will be up to guys like JR, or Jones to create space for Lebron to work. I think the Cavs are actually better off with a <10 point lead because going up 20 takes the foot off the gas and relieves the pressure from the Warriors. If the Cavs can make the first half of game 4 look like the first half of game 3 the Warriors are really going to start to feel it. Just keep punching them in the gut until they fold.

I was thinking that myself, but I don't think the Cavs game planned for Lee at all. When LeBron and Thompson/Mozgov start running PNR right at him all night, Kerr will go right back to Green.

I think Iguodala is their MVP thus far, and it's not close.

Any idea what Lebron's "secret motivation" is that media outlets have referred to? I guess Lebron made a statement after Game 2 about it, but won't elaborate on it. One guy thought it had something to do with the fact Lebron has been snubbed for MVP too often in recent years despite being likely the best player in the league.

What impresses me most about Delly is... the entire Warriors team is hell bend on setting 'picks' to knock his ass out.. kid is getting pounded

PS Shump hurt that same shoulder again... he's just hanging it there.. playing one-armed.. Love was exploding with adrenaline last night... he was chawing on that gum with a vengeance...

Lee hasn't played much, so he was fresh and going against a gassed frontcourt. That said, he played well, and will play more.

damn... what a freaking game. Downtown is just nuts and that is with us going up 2-1 in the series. I don't know what this city will do Thursday night/Friday if we can make it 3-1. They might have to shut down the whole city Friday-Tuesday.

Since I am still dreaming... going up 3-1 in this series on Thursday, I just don't think Golden State is tough enough to come back to even win game 5 to send it back to Cleveland on Tuesday. Which part of me would be sad cuz if the Cavs are up 3-2 coming back home on Tuesday, shit... this city is shutting down. And if we would win at home??? I just can't picture what would happen, never have let me even think about what it would feel like if we would win. So part of me thinks best to win the series in Golden State...

Ahhhhh, fuck it... stop dreaming. GS was down 2-1 to Memphis and came back. I can't let thoughts like that enter my head until it happens.

Not to be a downer at all, but if I'm Kerr, this is what I am telling my team: "We have them right where we want them. Yes, we'd rather be up 2-1 than down 2-1, but they got 60 of their 96 points from 2 guys, one of which is doubled over after every game and the other of which was taken to the hospital after the game. Meanwhile, we'll keep running 10-11 guys at them until they wear down." Now, that said, one of those guys is LeBron, and they clearly can't stop him. But this defensive effort will be hard to maintain for 7 games, so I think Game 4 is really Game 7. If the Cavs can go up 3-1, they should have them. But if they burn that kind of effort and lose game 4, then they will have to burn the same effort in Game 5 because they will want to close it out in 6 at home. So it gets really difficult if it is a 3 game road series with only 7 guys, given the amount of energy they have to expend defensively. Game 4 is the critical game.
