They were investigating the Falcons using canned crowd noise. There is no end to the minutiae the nfl will investigate.
I gave up all hope of this franchise ever turning things around back in 2012. Drafting Brandon Weeden cinched it for me. If that article doesn't do the same for the rest of you...oof, I feel sorry for you.
If there's a merciful God out there, he'll relocate this snuff film of a franchise and spare Cleveland any further embarrassment.
Same here. I refused to jump back on the bandwagon even when they were 7-4 or whatever earlier this year, because I knew damn well they'd fuck it all up. It's in the franchise's DNA. They're just born losers. I refuse to get sucked back in, and I'm glad I didn't.It's more comic relief than anything else at this point.

I guess my point was that whatever Farmer suggested certainly did not give the Browns any advantage and I do not know what suspending a GM accomplishes especially during the season. I can see a suspension during the off-season when they are looking for players and such but during the season sort of confuses me which is not hard. What do you think those texts were about? (serious question)
I'm guessing Farmer went ape-[Mark May] about QB play and 'suggested' they get Hoyer out of there
PS Issue at hand is.. in general terms.. no office member is permitted to do anything during the game that gives their team an unfair advantage
So, I was browsing profootballreference.com, looking over the hilarious ineptitude of this franchise. I came across an astounding statistic. In 16 seasons, this diarrhea spray of a franchise is averaging 267.8 points scored per season, or 16.7 points per game. How a team is that consistently bad offensively boggles the mind. Of course, it all goes back to their inability to find anything resembling consistency under center, but my God does that smack you in the jaw when you stare at it on the screen.
This is their points scored total since 1999, starting with 2014...

Twice in 16 years did they manage to average 20 ppg. TWICE. 6 times they've managed to average < 15 ppg. They've eclipsed 300 points in a season 4 times. That is just incomprehensibly pathetic.
I refuse to believe this. I can see scoring 16 points per game for one or two games, but to average that over 256 games is impossible. A team would have to intentionally try to not score to be that bad.So, I was browsing profootballreference.com, looking over the hilarious ineptitude of this franchise. And there's the rub. This team is going to be without their answer at QB yet again in 2015. Another year flushed down the toilet, because the FA crop is garbage, and I have zero belief that this franchise has the ability to find one later in the draft. In fact, I have zero faith in their ability to draft/develop a QB, period. I'm pretty sure they would have even fucked up Andrew Luck. Even if Hoyer were to return, and that's far from a guarantee, he's still gonna be the below average guy he was in 2014 throwing to a bunch of stiffs. It's a shame, because they finally have some nice pieces along the OL (assuming Mack can recover) and at RB in West/Crowell. A gaggle of Hoyer/Johnny Goodtimes/Shaw hardly looks appealing. Even less so if it's just Johnny Goodtimes/Shaw and some other scrub castoff like McCown or somebody of his ilk.I hope it was just that. Because it immediately blew up in his face with Manziel. I'm praying that has made him gun shy about drafting a QB. I don't want Squinston or Mariota in the 1st.
