Read it the same way at first.
My latest lean, since they won't take Rosen, draft Darnold and Chubb and be done with it. Then go RB in the 2nd.

D’arnold and Chubb, then go a combination of RB, DB, and either another DB or OT/DT for round 2.

I've been burned too many times to believe the Browns won't do the most Browns thing in the draft. Hope they prove me wrong.

I get where you're coming from....I'm just hoping this winter's off-season moves and trades have been the beginning of a trend rather than a blip on the radar.

Alright... here are my fearless Nostradamusian predictions for tonight. (Translated from the original quatrains for extra lack of clarity.
Prediction 1: The Browns will take a QB at 1. (I still "think" its going to be Darnold - this Mayfield shit is "lets give them something to talk about" crap, I heard two different people on two different shows today say in 30 second timeframes that John Dorsey's wife doesn't know BUT that they're pretty sure Mayfield is a real possibility. And maybe it is Mayfield but, I'm pretty sure they're just the guy that just guessed right)
Prediction 2: If Chubb is on the board at #4 they will take them. If not they will Trade out. Unless... the can get 1.25 or more on the dollar. (So, like 2 firsts - including a top 15 and a 3rd or so. The easiest route to this is Buffalo 12, 22 and 96 - but I think that Someones first pick this year plus 2019 1st rounder plus goodies is possible)
Prediction 3: They will make at least 3 selections tonight whether they draft Chubb at 4 or not. Most likely target is #18 for the "3rd" one. I think they'd prefer to use one of the 1st two seconds plus a 3rd (that they don't have yet - see above) but if they like someone enought they may package one of early two plus the late one. Not much difference between the 33 and 35, but they could have 3 picks tonight and be on the clock tomorrow conceiveably. (and that could happen if they use the 4 or not)

No, he does not. He says he's hearing from sources that aren't the Browns that they think its Mayfield.
