Cleveland Browns (2016 thread of unrelenting dumpster conflagration)

Have to be able to tackle to play safety. That ain't Gilbert.

Speaking of, aside from Moore... I thought Campell, Poyer and even Kindred have looked decent. Our safety group isn't terrible.

Our linebackers with the exception of Orchard are pretty much trash. I don't even think I can give Kirksey a pass. He's like Craig Robinson, looks great one play, blows up a screen, then biffs the next.
The NFL is about being consistent in your production.

I liked the Nassib pick, loving it more. Granted his strip sack was either a blown protection or the QB not knowing his protection(s). Still, ball batted down, another few pressures. Great, high motor kid.
Wasn't a fan of the Ogba pick, for two reasons - he plays the same position as Nassib (to me, that classic LE spot) and his first step doesn't strike me as being good, hence why he's been with the DL and not the backers.
Kid doesn't have the agility to play a SOLB spot.

I like Coach Horton, I like the concepts on his defense(s). However they require such players that can be hard to identify, develop/coach and then with the various role players and sub packages, it can be difficult for a roster
dearth of talent. Not saying I would have killed for Schwartz, but so far these showings haven't changed my mind.

Justin Gilbert might be the worst Cleveland Browns player ever...which would put him high in the running for worst football player ever worldwide.

I guess we really are going to pretend that the Money Badger didn't exist?

Sorry, didn't get the game where I was. It was more a question of is there anything that the Browns can do to salvage the pick. Sounds like the answer is no and it's another high bust.
 Sorry, didnt mean to come off as a smartass, just wanted to point out that it might actually be a worse position for him than corner
