Cleveland Browns (2016 thread of unrelenting dumpster conflagration)

Certainly not a bad hire by the Browns based on the overwhelming interest in Hue. I still would have liked to see them at least interview Lovie and consider bringing in someone with NFL head coaching experience.

Hue Jackson was head coach of the raiders. what's really funny is the san fran meltdown that has commenced recently. all they talked about was how jackson got such a raw deal with oakland and how he wanted to return to the west coast. then he met san frans lunatic gm.

i think the real thing to be concerned about is the fact that cleveland conducted a thorough and professional HC search, in which many of the candidates they interviewed were impressed with the new browns front office guys. they then identified their top target, who was actually in demand, and acquired him whilst he was wanted by several other teams.

i fully expect to see four horsemen riding down the street quite soon.

Breaking News: the Browns have fired Hue Jackson. When reached for comment, Haslam said he was not "directionally correct" when he accidentally put his left turn signal on and then turned right on the way to the introductory press conference. A new search will open as soon as every other job is filled so that the Browns are the "top job" available
