"It's a blue-collar city, and for a blue-collar guy like myself, it's easy to fall in love with the people and kind of the chip on the shoulder that a lot of people have because they feel like they've been slighted for so long. It's so important for me to be here for the turnaround. I don't want to just get a Super Bowl ring [by] being traded to a dream team. It would feel unsatisfying. Unfulfilling."
'17 draft... Jonathan Allen or Myles Garrett ... I know Garrett is off the charts but seeing him play a couple of times he didn't impress me much.
With #1 pick in the NFL Draft the Cleveland Browns select Jadeveon CL... I mean Myle GarrettI'm always suspect of physical freaks at the DE spot who don't show up on tape with fundamentals or the motor.
As for Allen though, sign me the fuck up. I'd still even take a run at Sheldon Richardson. You'd have one of the nastiest interior dlines in the NFL overnight.

Agree on the edge production but the few times I've watch Garrett his year he's been single blocked(but no factor on the play), always winded (hands on hips taking deep breaths), going out of the game quite often. Maybe the clowney comparisons was apt more a few ago but personally I think I'd rather have Jonathan Allen instead of GarrettAccording to pff, clowney is one of the best run defenders in the NFL this year. And concurrently, he's finally relatively healthy. The browns would kill to get that sort of production from an edge defender this year. While I'm not trying to make a direct comparison, Garrett is closer to von Miller than clowney.
