Keep in mind that the Browns have a lot of picks to play with if they want to trade up from 26. They'll be active if they want/need to be.

Clowney presents a huge risk. The ability is undeniable. But I, and a lot of folks, have doubts about how hard he'll work once he's cashing enormous checks. I don't think a perpetual mess like the clowns can risk that pick. By Robinson, I'm assuming you mean Allen. I think he'd actually be there at 35, and if not, plenty of solid WRs will be. There's about .00000099% chance Bortles is there at 35 unless he's busted beating an elderly woman with the corpse of a bald eagle. Hyde at 71, yes please.I'm taking
Clowney @ 4
Robinson @ 26
Bortles @ 35
Hyde @ 71
Assuming the reports that the Clowns are gonna pass on Manziel is not a smoke screen-- Bridgewater reminds me a lot of Geno Smith. Same size, decent, not great arm strength, enough mobility to move around in the pocket, but not gonna run for a ton of yards. I don't think either will be more than average NFL QBs. I'd pass. I don't see Bortles falling past Minnesota, and I don't get the feeling they like him enough at 4. I actually liked what I saw of Carr in the few games I watched. If you can get past the brother stigma, he might not be a bad pick if he's there at 26. After that, they have to decide if they're okay with developmental guys/guys with question marks.
Garropolo (SP?) seems to be somebody that everybody loves his measurables, but the scouting reports, IIRC, say he's pretty easily rattled under pressure. Plus he hasn't played under center. Savage is a hot name that I just don't get. I saw 3 Pitt games, in the first two he looked like camp fodder, he looked pretty good in their bowl game. McCarron seems like a career backup/spot starter. He might thrive in certain systems, but not in a perpetual mess like the clowns. Mettenberger is the most interesting to me. Comes from a pro system. Good arm. He reminds me of Flacco in a lot of ways, which if you give him some weapons, that's pretty solid. It's leagues better than what the clowns have had since 1999. But, then you have the knee, purported back issues, and weed. I'm sorry, but anybody dumb enough to smoke weed close enough to the combine to get popped lacks some IQ points.
That is true. But physically, they seem pretty similar to me.except bridgewater actually comes from a pro style offense that required him to make reads and go through progressions instead of the holgerson chuck and duck that geno smith came from, the same system that pumped out brandon weeden.
