Maybe Ward expressed the desire to no longer play in Cleveland. I'm not sure why he'd go to Detroit. Be interesting to see his final deal.
He went to Denver.

They were saying on 92.3 today that Ward was looking for 8mil/yr from the Browns.
He went to Denver.
The New Orleans Saints reached agreement with former Buffalo Bills safety Jairus Byrd on a six-year, $54 million deal that includes $28 million guaranteed, sources told ESPN's Josina Anderson and ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Woah...I don't know if Byrd is worth this kinda money

It's only 9 per year but it's the fact it's 6 years and 28 guaranteedNo safety is worth THAT kind of money.
apparently whitner's contract is pretty heavily frontloaded as well.
Holy shit.. are you kidding me?Aaron Wilson @RavensInsider 14m
Shawn Lauvao Redskins deal: four years, $17 million, $5 million guaranteed, $4 million bonus, salaries $2million, $3M, $4M, $4M
Or the Redskins
Let's try that again: The Browns will release 2012 first-round draft pick Brandon Weeden on Monday, according to a league source @nflnetwork
Do not understand the Browns interest in Ben Tate except for the fact that I guess he played for Shanahan for a year or two but I would rather see the money spent on a OG and draft a decent RB. I do not know maybe they will do both.
Also, do not understand the so-called interest in the DE from Buffalo. I thought they had enough defensive linemen unless something is in the works.
I really like for them to pick up one of the remaining slot receivers since they struck out on Hawkins. Sanders would be nice.
