I guess Cleveland media Really let the boys have it when Haslam/Banner had a PC. One of the questions
Steve Doerschuk @ sdoerschukREP 30s
One verbatim question to Haslam: "Can you assure the fans they don't have The Three Stooges running this organization?"
Banner also said that guys interviewed last year would not be interviewed this year so O'Brien will not be coming.
For me, I want someone who has HC experience in the NFL and I do not want a defensive minded HC (that means no DC's)
Try to "read more carefully", since you missed it from the start. It was never about specific games, it was about one half a season versus the other. It was not "fiction", just a different take than your own which always works so hard to downplay the horribleness of Cleveland front-office decisions. Hence the sAgain, I never said anything about Kruger being good. I simply showed you where your stats and consequently your assertion, was wrong. Nothing more to it than you trying to save face.
Some highlights from Jimmy Grand Jury:
"We understand why there might be some skepticism."
"This is the crucial offseason for the Cleveland Browns. We have lots of room on the cap, we have ten draft picks, and we've gotta hire a new coach," Haslam said. "If we get that right, we'll have a lot of really positive press conferences. If we get that wrong, the responsibility is on us. ... We feel a lot of pressure to get this right, for the franchise, for the city of Cleveland, for our fans."
Yeah, the responsibility is on us...to fire another coach and tell each other how fucking smart we are while we hire another guy to blame next time we fuck up
And the winner: " “It galls me when people write, ‘Same old Browns.'"

I do not know if this has been answered but Jackson is not a free agent. I agree with you I would like to move back to the 4-3 also. The problem with Chud is that he did not win the games he should have… Jacksonville and the New York Jets. That is what sort of really did him in. Mack is expendable IMO but that will come down to how much money he wants. I want Ward back.I watched the video of when that question was asked and it wasnt as good as I was hoping...ill give Deroos credit for even reading facebook comment from the fans in a press conference and throwing in the 3 stooges part, but he would have brass balls, and 0 job right now if he would of came right out and asked if the 3 stooges are running the organization straight up...either way I am dissapointed in having Chud removed...the guy had 0 chance to succeed...the roster we have is what the record showed, a 4-12 team...technically 5-11 because the refs screwed over us for the most part on the PI call, but they should of never gotten the onside kick so whatever...even if we by some act of god, satan or allah, we hit a home run next year in the draft, I still don't see how this team improves to a playoff team in our division...Mack, Jackson and Ward are all free agents...besides franchising them I dont see how they want to come back...good luck getting Haden to sign an extension this offseason...i also love how banner referenced the 10 draft picks we have in next years draft...thats great but unless ozzie newsome is drafting I really dont care...the 2013 draft sucked bottom line...they did a terrible job...the best pick was josh gordon and they didnt even select him and according to multiple sources, attempted to trade him...i never thought we could possibly go lower then rock bottom but apparently there are multiple levels below rock bottom the cleveland browns can continue to plow through...i hope we switch to a 4-3, hire some no name defensive coordinator and switch our team colors to the gay flag
Those of you who like Zimmer the word on him is that he has a pretty foul mouth and does not interview very well. Most people around the NFL think he is an excellent coach but might never become a HC because of his mouth.
Not until Horton explains those fourth-quarter meltdowns. I did not think that he did that well this season and the Arizona defense did much better this season than they did while under his command. I would not mind Smith but I do not hear his name mentioned with the Browns. He seems to be the favorite for Tampa Bay.Well then, I guess foul mouth coaches are only reserved for high school players across the country.
That said, I'd have no problem with them taking a look at Lovie and retaining Horton.

I think we could go back to a 4-3 without too many problems. I did not see any schemes that really impressed me from Horton. If we are going to do a do over, let us do a complete do over.No doubt he will need to explain what happened - the defense got worse as the year went on. However we've already lost a HC. I think it best to keep some continuity amongst the staff. Especially since our previous draft was engineered towards Hortons schemes.
While that might be true, I believe McDaniels will one day be a successful head coach. I believe this because I know what it takes to be successful in the league. I've never worked with Josh, nor have I spent much time around him. But I have observed him each week, from his game plans to his teams' performance on the field. His teams might not have been the most talented, but they were well-coached, well-designed and well-prepared.
McDaniels will learn from his tenure in Denver, just as Belichick learned from his time in Cleveland, and some other owner willing to change will benefit greatly.
