Just when you think things with Hillis couldn't get any more bizarre...

...who would've thought last year at this time things would get so ridiculous. :slappy:

Hillis = secret agent:)

ESPN.com?s Adam Schefter writes how throughout the past season,
Hillis has wavered about whether he wants to continue playing football, and even considered joining the CIA, according to team sources.

More on Hillis. I don't think is head is screwed on correctly.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- On the eve of free agency, Browns running back Peyton Hillis has parted ways with his agent, Kennard McGuire, a league source confirmed for the Plain Dealer.

It's the third agent Hillis has dumped in a year. The first two were Jimmy Sexton and Kelli Masters.
The news was first reported by Josina Anderson of ESPN.

Browns general manager Tom Heckert told Anderson today, "If we can work something out with Peyton (Hillis) we will. Did he have some rough patches during the season? Yes. Were there stretches where things were blown out of proportion? Yes. Honestly, I feel like a lot of that was blown up in the media. Now, of course things will still come down to the money, but we'll just have to wait and see."

Hillis' new agent is not yet known. A player must wait five days after he sends a letter of termination to the NFL Player Association before he can sign with a new agent.

I'll give this schtoink an A for effort, he is certainly blowing up this pick like it is the greatest thing to have in the history of civilization in the media...multiple teams? Who knew?

http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2012/st...ams-gm-les-snead-says-multiple-teams-ask-pick

here's the thing. the rams like 3 guys. at #4 they can still get 2 of them. At #6, they might not get any of them. They know it. Cleveland knows it. that's why this pick is going to sell for much less than anyone is guessing at the moment.

well the Hillis situation is not good...obviously the team already has known about most of this stuff so this is no surprise to them...but i think it pretty much guarantees we are in the market for a RB...or at least we better be...if we resign Jason Bourne it better be for fucking cheap...this dumbass who has went thru 3-4 agents in the matter of a year better not get anything over what he is already making now...here are some decent articles i found about why the browns should draft RGIII...it wont change anyones mind but its worth a read

No decision: Browns must trade up for RG3

There's a growing sense that the Cleveland Browns should trade up and draft Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III. I'm here to tell you that the Browns must do it.

If they want an offensive playmaker. If they want a face for the franchise. If they eventually want to win a Super Bowl.

There are arguments against Cleveland giving up a handful of valuable picks for the Heisman Trophy winner. For each one, I will give you a convincing rebuttal on why RG3 is the Browns' only option at quarterback, from that golden arm to those priceless Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles socks.

RG3 is more athletic than most NFL quarterbacks and he's faster than most running backs. His wit is extremely quick as well. "I hope somebody falls in love with me, other than my fiancee," he said when asked about the Browns possibly trading up to No. 2 to get him.

Let the Miami Dolphins sign Matt Flynn. Let another team panic and draft Ryan Tannehill in the top 10. Griffin is different than both of those quarterbacks. He's special. He has that "it" factor that turned around the Baylor football program and figures prominently in any NFL reclamation project.

i also blame Hillis's possible CIA stint on the madden cover

Hillis is just misunderstood. After being on the Madden cover, an honor in and of itself that very few can claim, he then set his sights on being on a Black Ops cover. He would be the only one to pull that off. Yes, Hillis is a true renaissance man.
