i was talking about the andre rison post in general...in free agency your not going to find many big names that are going to come to cleveland unless its 1987

apparently the browns only offered him an incentive laden deal and he was told he would be a nickle cb again this year, so he took the one year deal with detroit.

someone forgot to tell him that he'll need to deal with aaron rogers twice a year.

sounds like the Eagles are going to shop Asante Samuel who is a BAMF....I'm sure Heckert would love to swing that deal. A combo of Haden and Samuel would be pretty nasty.

Probably a pipe dream, but an interesting scenario to watch....

If I played Detroit this year I would get all the GMs together and just agree to pass around Boldin all season.

Well we've seemingly switched from Cleveland Jets to Cleveland Eagles mode, so I think it's actually a possibility in actuality. No doubt with a suspect line they'd love to shore up the secondary.

I think we'd all love to see this. It makes too much sense though, which is why it will never happen. The Browns do have some extra draft picks to play with though...

I will not disagree that its hard to convince guys to want to come to cleveland but its also hard to whiff on guys when your not even courting them.
