Cleveland Browns (2010 season)

Roth was a huge [blank] when he played at Iowa and I couldn't stand him then. Let him do what he wants. Half a decent season out of 5 means nothing. The Browns seriously need to grow a pair, make big boy decisions for the organization and tell prima donna queens like this to walk on.

Not to mention that showing was against some of the dregs of the NFL...

Cleveland Browns' offense dominates during daily workout - Tony Grossi blog | cleveland.com

* Jake Delhomme was sharp with his throws, hooking up at least twice in the end zone with tight end Ben Watson. If there's anything wrong with Delhomme's throwing arm or elbow, it sure wasn't evident.

* In 90 minutes, I didn't see a single dropped pass by a receiver.
* Brian Robiskie and Josh Cribbs both came down with splendid receptions in the end zone in red zone drills.

A) I'm hoping Watson evolves into the player that he had shown before being drafted - I said that the TE's would be crucial to the offense and the lack of big time threats at WR ; its going to be just that.

B) While Cribbs is a stud athlete, please, please, please do NOT use him as anything more than a 4th reciever. MM, Robo should be getting rep time over him even in game situations. I would love to see him used more perhaps as a traditional running back even. He runs a bit upright but with his size and agility it would be an awesome way to get him touches.

Bottom line is, he's just not a natural reciever.

- That aside; I'm not a fan of Grossi but I'm liking what I hear. Maybe Delhomme can get his mental game back and be a solid game manager. That's all we need right now.

The thing about Delhomme's arm is that it wont start breaking down until he gets to throwing a lot. Watch what happend to Palmer last year, its the same sort of thing. Good news with Watson though, thats a positive.

It's better than being broken down before the season even starts like last season.

I like Delhomme as a person though. Seems like a cool dude. Hopefully he can produce on the field this year, which a lot of that will depend on the line and receivers, but if he's not hurt (or whatever was going on with him last year) then we'll be a significantly better ball team.

I personally feel the Oline should be very solid. we have one of the best left sides in the NFL. Mack came on strong in the latter part of the season, if we can shore up the RG/T spot then Delhomme and this running game will be all the better for it.

His elbow is done, it is fried. If there was anyway that he wasnt done then Carolina would not have cut him the year after giving him a 42 mill contract. Once a QB has that injury it is over. Carson Palmer you see him this year? That is what Delhomme will look like as soon as the season stars, but much much worse.

that's why cleveland's medical staff put him through a barrage of tests and cleared him before offering him a contract. but thanks for the diagnosis Dr. Quinn.

The staff in Cinci obviously cleared Palmer last year too. I guess you thought him short arming balls all season was something you desire from your QB. The reason the Bengals lost to the Jets in the season finale and the playoffs was because Palmer couldnt hit anything, hit accuracy was shot.

i dont believe hes had any off-season surgery on his right arm/elbow so it might of had something to do with the surgery he just had on his left thumb
