Well, I don't get the Delhomme signing now. He serves no purpose as the starter of a team that needs to get younger and rebuild. As a backup, sure, he'd be good. But it appears that he's going to be the starter at this point.

I love Peyton Hillis though. He's a fullback who can run the ball. Kind of like a Leron Mcclain. Should be good on third down.

EDIT: The picks are a 2011 6th rounder and a 2012 "late-round" pick according to Schefter. I find it hard to believe that a QB with starting potential is worth as little as a fullback and two late picks in future drafts.

Somewhere King Rhabuf is buying a Broncos jersey

This one comes out of nowhere.

From Adam Caplan (Twitter)

I wonder if that means a defensive scheme change isn't in the offing here....

That trade makes no sense for the Raiders. They need all the picks (I'm going to assume that the Browns got picks back) they can get.

Trading Quinn for basically nothing is beyond stupid.
Trading Wimbley is concerning solely for the lack of depth this team has, I was never impressed with him as a player, but depth was a huge issue last year...

Schefter just brought up a good point that Denver when they were trying to trade Cutler last year offered Cleveland, Cutler for Quinn and Cleveland turned it down. Today they get Quinn and give up a fullback

How? Why? What? They wouldn't give up Quinn for Cutler?!? There has to be more to that.

Had to have been Quinn and a first and maybe more. Looking at what Denver got from Chicago, no way Quinn was worth that much to them. A team traded a potential franchise QB and a lot of people thought they won the trade.
