Coach Eric Mangini said Delhomme "will do a little bit of work" today, but "it won't be extensive."
Both quarterbacks suffered their injuries against Atlanta on Oct. 10. For Delhomme, it was his second bout with a high ankle sprain.
But the arrival of both veterans to the practice field will not cut into starter Colt McCoy's practice time with the No. 1 offense, Mangini indicated.
The coach said Wallace worked with the scout team on Wednesday, and he'll continue to do so today. Delhomme's reps, if he receives any at all today, would be severely limited.

moreBEREA, Ohio -- Browns linebacker Marcus Benard collapsed to the floor in the locker room today and trainers rushed to tend to him. An ambulance was called and he was taken to a nearby hospital for observation at 12:25 today. He was sitting up and conscious as he was wheeled on the stretcher into the ambulance.
Browns spokesman Neal Gulkis said Benard was stable and alert and was taken to a local hospital for further testing. Gulkis would not name the hospital.

"I think everyone in New York is happy about that," Mangini said, "except maybe Macy's losing one of their floats."
Actually, I'd rather stay on the track of not acknowledging that guy at any point in the future. Especially during a period where I'm actually proud of the Browns and excited about positive direction in which this team is heading.ysubuck;1809293; said:I certainly hope he's alright. Cleveland.comCLEVELAND -- Browns linebacker Marcus Benard will sit out practice today and undergo further tests to determine why he fainted Thursday in the locker room, but has not been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets.
"Marcus always wants to play,'' said coach Eric Mangini. "It's a matter of ruling things out.''
Mangini said he had no further details on why Benard col
lapsed and doesn't know if if was the first time it's ever happened to him.
He praised Benard's development over the past year and a half after signing as an undrafted rookie and coming in "about as raw'' as can be. Benard leads the Browns with 4-1/2 sacks and is arguably their top pass-rush threat. In other Browns news, Mangini said the Browns will most likely start Colt McCoy and that Seneca Wallace might be healthy enough to be the two or three. He said Jake Delhomme looked a little rusty in his first day of practice Thursday.
