Could it be that the Browns have finally turned the corner and are headed in the right direction. After yesterdays game, i sure hope so. Hopefully Maurice Clarett has seen the light of day in his life. We all have made mistakes in life one way or another. It's not beyond anyones wild dreams, but wouldn't it shock the football world if he came back to play pro-football for the Browns.
This is a mute point with the Browns organization regarding MoC because of the type of players Holmgren wants on his roster.

I am a rather large realist when it comes to the Browns. However I think this team will be very, very tough moving forward. If they can show the resolve and disciplined play that we saw against the Pats I think we could be in for a big treat down the stretch.

Keep in mind our next 5 games are NYJ, Jacksonville, Carolina, Miami & Buffalo.

I'm not going to saying anything beyond that, I'm sure enough of you will read that line and then think what our record could be should we win the larger portion of those games, beat Cincy and lord willing split a game with either Baltimore or Pittspuke (preferably the latter)

This team still needs an infusion of talent. But after seeing the players with Mangini and Ryan, they have my full confidence moving forward. Give them more talent and I think great things are ahead.

Also, I am beginning to like Mangini which is a very serious sign because I think Holmgren has got the itch and I would hate for him to blow it all up because of his ego. Lerner might have a big decision to make at the end of the year and I don't know, while I do now, that he is able to make the correct decision for the Browns. I just think Mangini and Holmgren are going to butt heads.

My fear is that you're right, my hope is that you're wrong. :) I am now fully in the keep Mangini camp, and I think that Holmgren is making all of the right front office moves. For the first time since EVER, I love the Browns' leadership and think the team is moving in absolutely the right direction.

Which means that the world is about to implode. :dead:

Please, big Mike. You have a coach. Be the GM and make Mrs. Holmgren happy!

Former Browns receiver Braylon Edwards, who will come to town Sunday with his 6-2 Jets, got his homecoming party started early this week with the following Tweet on Monday:
"And before I take off and forget, all you Cleveland browns fans, 17 is coming back and you better bring ya [darn] popcorn."

Edwards, who was traded to the Jets last season, knows he won't be warmly received, especially after telling the New York Times earlier this season: "There's nothing going on in Cleveland. There's no real estate. There's no social life, no social networking. All the people who have something going on leave Cleveland. So Cleveland has nothing, and I came in there with a New York-type of essence. So what? That was the attitude I came in with. Like, this is who I am. They didn't like the flash."

Rex Ryan dresses up as Rob, puts bounty on brother's head

Posted by Michael David Smith on November 10, 2010 3:21 PM ET
During his time as an NFL coach in the 1980s, Buddy Ryan was accused of putting bounties on opposing players' heads.

This week Buddy's sons, Jets coach Rex Ryan and Browns defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, are preparing to square off against each other. And Rex says he's learned a little something from his old man.

"There is a rumor going around that there has been a bounty placed on his head," Rex said today. "Let's be honest: There is a bounty."

So how much will Rex give his players if they take his brother out?

"Not much," Rex said. "Five bucks."

Oh, and Rex also met the media today while dressed up like his brother. You'd think that dressing up as his twin wouldn't really make Rex look unusual, but you'd be wrong. He looked ridiculous.
