I didnt think savage was that Fat

I was speaking more towards the other guy, but maybe Savage wouldn't have done it, I don't know.

But they wouldn't be taking the hard line with the Giants - they would have folded by now for a LOT less than what they are asking for.

No kidding. I've been wanting a coach who's a hardass, and a GM who is f-ing diabolical. I don't know if these are the right guys yet, but I've liked what I've seen so far.

they did trade peterson. however, leroy hill was slapped with a franchise tag and lofa totupu is a stud. taking a lb at #4 when your left tackle is close to done and your qb has constant back problems and is up there in years is not smart.

Nope, not at all. I was just throwing it out there. I've read some Seahawks' fans saying that if Curry is there, he's a Seahawk.

I'm now officially rooting for whatever scenario creates a bidding war for Sanchez at #5.

Nobody projected around that spot excites me - I'd love to see them pile up some picks, drop to the middle of the first round and pick a Buckeye!

Well, with the draft now hours away, my preference at #5 is sliding to Raji. He reminds me a lot of Ngata a couple years back. He looks like a difference maker at DT to me. If the Braylon trade doesn't happen (I still think it does), I hope Robo gets a hard look in the 2nd round if he's still there. The selfish Browns fan in me would love to see Beanie fall to the Browns in round 2 with all the "questions" sourrounding his foot and "toughness".

I mentioned earlier in this thread that Grossi said that the Browns would be interested in Raji and slide Rogers to DE so you might not be too far off. I am with you regarding Robiskie if the Edwards deal goes through. I would not be surprised to see Beanie fallout of the first round just because of those nagging injuries but how far would he slide and would the Browns even taken him.

I agree. If the Browns are picking a #5, I want Raji. My first preference though is to see the Browns trade down if the opportunity arises - maybe to a spot in the first round where they can select Beanie.

I love Beanie but I just worry about is nagging injuries.
espn just said that the brownies might be in the running for Oher at RT (or another T prospect)... if the line has Thomas and Oher (or another 1st round OT) at RT, that might just be a good line.
not necessarily a bad thing, but that's a lot of money tied up in the O-line. I'm still pulling for a trade that allows Cleveland to aquire more picks, and get more value in the middle of the first round.

I can't disagree with this at all. But, if you have to spend the money on the line, it would be great to have some very talented and YOUNG tackles.
