Cleveland Browns (2009 Season)

Meh, I don't want Cutler as a BROWNS fan.. is he an improvment? Yes. Is he a beotch? Yes.

The off the field issues concern me.. the drinking and the denver situation. I would rather draft Mark Sanchez and trade BQ or DA for additonal picks or players than I would Cutler.

I would hope the BROWNS draft someone else besides Sanchez, just wanted to state that Cutler is a bitch.
I don't want any part of this trade unless it involves DA leaving, and Cutler not coming here. I hadn't heard about the alcohol stuff until today, but I never really gave a shit about the guy before I heard about him possibly coming here...

I also would rather have Sanchez as a Brown, because he would be a Brown Sanchez (Dirty Sanchez) and that would at least be hilarious.

I've followed Cutler since he got into the league and the first that alcohol has become an issue was in the past couple weeks. I see it as a non-issue, really. Something that important would've come up before now if it was such a common occurrence IMO. The media is blowing his situation way out of proportion. He plays hard, is liked in the locker room, and is a pro-bowler. He's handling this poorly, but I honestly think him being a "bitch" is being WAY overblown.

He's brutally honest sometimes, but I personally have no problems with that.

I've never considered Quinn to be a guy that's cocky or creates unneeded drama. Am I missing the boat here? When has he ever been a problem for this team since he's made the roster??

Gay bashing (even though I still think he's in the closet), locker room fighting, autograph signing, and a visit to my wife's school where he was a complete dick to a bunch of kids with Autism.

That ain't even close. Rumors are they want a QB and two 1st rounders.

No way they get that.

those rumors are blatantly false. no team has that kind of collateral to begin with, and secondly, nobody in their right mind would pay it.

No kidding. They may as well ask for unicorns and leprechauns if they're gonna ask for that.

I've never been aware of any "gay bashing," any conflicts at any autograph signings, and I certainly have never heard of any issues with him being rude or disrespectful to Autistic children at your wife's school, wherever that may be. I'm not saying you're wrong or anything like that, just that I've never heard of any your claims.

As for the locker room fighting......let's be honest here. I know what happened there, and it wasn't Quinn's problem. He was sticking up for a teammate and Sean Smith threw a punch at him. That's what happened. He didn't antagonize it, nor did he deserve it.

Look bud, I'm not a HUGE Quinn fan or anything, but I think he's the best chance we have right now to move forward in a positive direction. Maybe I'm entirely wrong on this one, but I happen to think his head is in the right place, and that he's a half-decent guy.

The gay bashing is about a time when he apparently verbally bashed some gays outside a gay bar here in Columbus if I remember correctly.

I also think he was charging some stupid prices for autographs. Not sure if he's still doing that, but I know he was.

Cutler's biggest problem was always his asshole stage dad's influence. Hard for him to shake out all of that learned behavior.

The is a trade that should be made by a team who is a good QB away from winning the Super Bowl... the Bears are not that team. Awful trade for Chicago IMO, they gave up way too much.

I agree, the problem is the Bears management think they are a good QB away from winning the Super Bowl.

Utah?s Smith In Demand

Posted by Aaron Wilson on April 2, 2009, 8:38 p.m. EDT

University of Utah cornerback Sean Smith is drawing heavy interest from NFL teams, according to a league source.

Smith has been scheduled for visits with the Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens and the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks, St. Louis Rams, Cleveland Browns, Eagles and the Dolphins are among the teams that have set up private workouts with Smith.

Listed at nearly 6′4 and 214 pounds, Smith is one of the most imposing cornerbacks to enter the draft in recent league history.

Smith was clocked in 4.43 seconds during his campus Pro Day workout, improving upon his 4.50 time at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Over the past two seasons, the former wide receiver intercepted nine passes and knocked down 15 passes.

Smith registered a 34-inch vertical leap at the combine and a 9-11 broad jump.

6'4 CB? Yikes. :yow2:
