Cleveland Browns (2008 Season)

hmmmmmm......

Romeo Crennel - Can't develop players, does not prepare team adequately, appears completely incapable of handling the personalities within the team.

Charlie Weis - Can't develop players, does not prepare team adequately, appears completely incapable of handling any type of diet.

I'n kind of hopeful Savage is back....I think Crennel was 'that' bad.

However, it'd be nice to see Savage take some local talent once in a while. I know that isn't his job, but sometimes it feels like the Browns take players just to stick it to the fans. Winslow and Edwards were difficult to digest. Crappy attitudes and players tOSU fans despise.....and Cleveland is very pro-tOSU.

I'm still hopeful the Browns take Malcolm....he'd have me really excited for next year.

Agree 100%

I agree as well, though I'll add that no matter who the GM is next for the upcoming draft and beyond, I'd like to see this organization start collecting draft picks instead of packing them up and sending them to other teams.

I hate how Savage has handled things this season. Profane e mail to a fan. The Winslow staph infection fiasco. He has been an embarassment.

Couple that with the power that he "has" to have and I think he has got to go.

Cowher and Pioli is my dream team. I'm amazed that Crennel and Savage could both be back in some capacity next season.

The Winslow "staff" infection was cured in 10 days with antibiotics. Staff????? NOT. Savage should be back. He has improved the talent tremendously. Will he give up control? Probably not. Look for major changes.

I dont think Romeo has fared any better than Charlie in the dieting department...

I feel bad for the Lions. They will go down in history for finishing 0-16, but honestly right now they are 10x the team the Browns are.

The only good news to come out of todays game is that it absolutely must have sealed Romeo's fate (if there was any doubt left)

Word on the ABC affiliate in Cleveland is that Savage is out. Romeo still in limbo. Too bad. Savage made mistakes but is was poor coaching down the stretch for the Browns. Stupid mistakes and players packing it in 5 weeks ago. I'm pounding Bud light....

That cant possibly be accurate??? No way Lerner would keep Romeo. I would be shocked.
But if he somehow doesnt get fired then my Sundays next fall just became free, which is pretty cool as I missed out on some good golf this fall.
