Cincinnati Reds 2021 (because we have to, I guess)

Is it dusty in here, or is it just me?

With the sweep of Chicago over the weekend, the Reds have now swept all of the other teams in their division this season. That is a first since 2012.

Last night the Reds won in Kansas City and it was another comeback victory, the fifth consecutive game where they have trailed and ultimately won.

Cubs lost their 10th in a row as well

I like the Reds to win again today, and Cincinnati probably should win by 2+ runs again. They are a much better team than KC, and Castillo has been on a tear lately. Hard to imagine KC winning tonight unless Castillo loses his recent form and/or the bullpen implodes (which they haven't done in a little while and aren't likely to do vs a weak KC offense).

This last stretch before the All Star break gives the Reds some great opportunities to close the gap with Milwaukee. I think the NL Central certainly comes down to these two teams, and injury luck will play a huge part in determining which team comes out ahead ultimately.

Shall I spare you the suspense?
