Cincinnati Reds 2021 (because we have to, I guess)

Contrast that with the Giants, who had a 6-1 record vs. the Reds in their season series. The Giants dominate teams with their starting pitching and solid defense. They have four former Reds pitchers in their rotation: Johnny Cueto, Kevin Gausman, Anthony DeSclafani and Alex Wood. They signed three of those pitchers last winter.

I've been a Giant fan all my life.

The Giants are really a terrible team this year, Buster Posey mighty be the only Giant hitting more than his weight. Four out of the 5 starting pitchers are ex Reds and overall the bullpen has been fairly inconsistent. However, they currently have the best record in baseball.

Did they complete the comeback?

Just a little past the quarter pole for the season and they have the 4th worst record in the NL.

That's about 2 spots higher than I expected (@Jake) everyone had the Pirates last, then it should be the Reds but Colorado and Arizona have to play in the NL West and deal with SF, LA and SD almost every night so they are going to be artificially suppressed.

Lot's of season to go though. I think they have the ability to earn a chance to blow another top 5 draft pick.

I guess I should watch more. 7-1 on the season when I watch and cruising again today. I just can't take the pitiful displays when they lose so I wont be increasing my frequency most likely.

Votto, Moustakis, India, Senzel and Winker out today and they're smashing the ball. LOLOLOL

Nice to see India playing as well as he is (for a rookie.) And Hunter Greene dominating in the minors is encouraging. It seemed like for a while that they might not get much for 3 top 5 picks in a row with Senzel, India & Greene.

I saw just now the Reds are +1200 to win the division. While they are behind a bit right now, I really like those odds. They might have the best team in the division overall. Although Milwaukee has some better arms, they can't all pitch every day. A trade to add a bullpen arm or two could put this team over the top.
