This umpiring crew in Milwaukee is a disaster. O'Nora was abysmal behind the plate in game 1 of the series. Tonight, the home plate umpire was awful and frequently called low strikes right on the line balls. Add to that, the third base ump didn't know what a check swing looks like and was calling everything a swing unlike anything I've ever seen before. I'm not sure if I've seen a rougher umpiring crew.

exactly...three throws in the dirt from the hole that the runners all beat. just fantastic and on brand for the organization.

Castellanos can't be seriously injured by being hit on the forearm ... right? He would have had to have a fracture of the radius or ulna to truly be injured where he got hit, and it didn't look like he was hit that hard or that it seriously injured him. But he got taken out of the game after running the bases in the third inning anyways. Odd decision, and frustrating to rest him like this after the all star break.

Reds starting the second half with another implosion. The defense was not helping, but they need some better, harder throwing arms coming out of the bullpen. I know Iglesias had his struggles at times, but trading him was a huge mistake considering the guys they are replacing him with.
