I heard a quote from Holt a while back regarding transfers which made me scratch my head. Basically he viewed transfers as something he was counting on every year and I didn’t like the way it sounded at all. I know it’s a reality today but it sure seems to me now that Coach has had the wrong approach.

Well it's one thing to get transfers to take your team to a higher level. It's quite another to pull a Holtmann & clog the roster with stopgap transfers that don't elevate the team every year.
