I don't know what's funnier the juxtaposition GatoruBet pointed out - or the fact that for two years in a row ND paid Tyrone Willingham more than they paid Charlie Weis.

Notre Dame paid its former coach, Tyrone Willingham, more money than its current one, Charlie Weis, in the 2005-06 year.
And now, according to the latest federal Form 990 tax form obtained by Insights and The Journal Gazette from the university, Notre Dame paid Willingham more than Weis in base compensation for the second straight year.
