You guys are getting all bent out o' shape about whether it's Chuckie or his belt that is getting the brunt of the pressue. Perhaps you don't realize this, but because of the enormous mass of the combined Weis/belt sphere, it creates its own gravity field and thus doesn't feel the pressure as other outside objects do. The real danger here are the objects that are being pulled towards this deadly mass.

Oh so that explains the donuts, cakes, pies, pastries, breads, rolls, biscuits, ad infinitum being drawn inexoribly toward South Bend, I thought it was just vendors efforts to raise their profit margins.

He may be videotaping the signals of opponents. But there's little evidence to indicate that he's reviewed those tapes to learn anything.

Shannon, Weis among five coaches to visit troops in Kuwait

CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- With a daughter serving in the military, Randy Shannon particularly understands the importance of supporting American troops.

The Miami coach will fly a long way this spring to make that point.

Shannon is among five college football coaches who'll head to Kuwait and other military bases in the Middle East this May to meet with U.S. troops and participate in some clinics. He'll be joined by Notre Dame's Charlie Weis, Georgia's Mark Richt, Auburn's Tommy Tuberville and Yale's Jack Siedlecki.

The trip is scheduled from May 20-26.
