They aren't leaving the SEC out. Bama is getting in over Texas if that's what the final choice comes down to. They will throw that h2h right out the window the second Bama beats the 2 time defending champ and ends their long winning streak if that's how it goes down.

I know h2h should matter to some degree, but that game was all the way back in week 2. Fresh in the minds would be Bama beating #1 2 time defending champ UGA in the SEC title game while Texas plays the Big 12 title against a rather mediocre Okie State squad who's gotten blown out twice this season by bad teams.

I don't think the SEC would be left out. If Bama wins I think it's more likely they get two in than none, because SEC.

Let's be real, If Alabama beats Georgia they're both getting in, that's two spots. The Oregon-Washington winner is getting in. Iowa isn't beating tcun, sorry to say but I don't see it. That means Georgia has to win, Louisville has to beat FSU and Oklahoma State would have to win but I think if the committee has to choose between us and Tejas and they just squeak by Ok State then we get in. There's still a chance here and I like the odds.

I don't agree. They'll have a conference title and a win in Tuscaloosa. That'll carry more weight than OSU's win at South Bend.

Their only loss would be by one score in a rivalry game, same as OSU. It's a shame K-State blew a chance to win in Austin.

Nah. Texas has to lose. They'll have one more data point against a ranked team and be a P5 champ. And while the committee will never admit it "Texas Is Back" hype will trounce buckeye fatigue in their view.

I think the UW-UO game is a play-in game. Washington loses, and they'll suffer the fate of FSU as a one loss team that's likely to get blown out and thus left out. Oregon loses, and they have two losses. And Oregon seems like the much better shot at knocking tcun out in the semis. I don't want a rematch. I want tcun to watch us play for a NC. And besides, if the Buckeyes can't get the job done again, there'd be no worse feeling than watching that smirking little jock-sniffer Ono, Simple Jim and that team win a NC by beating us.
