Still the official prediction thread, right?

With one open roster spot and 14 seniors, there should be a minimum of 15 schollies. Hankins and Roby punching their tickets into the NFL would give us 17, and 3-4 transfers should give us 20-21.

Best guesses at this moment:
QB (2): Barrett & Trubisky
RB (1): Elliott
WR (3): Marshall, Gibson & Quick
TE (2): Baugh & Heuerman
OL (3): Lisle, Pocic & Montelus
DL (3): Price, Sprinkle & Bosa
LB (3): Anzalone, Love & Smith
DB (4): Burrows, Woodard, Thompson & Thomas

With 9 in the bag and Gibson, Heuerman, Anzalone, Love and Bosa likely to join this class, that leaves about 7 spots in play. How they juggle the last few spots may depend on what they see out of the young players on the roster this fall.

I would love to get james quick. And I think charlie strong leaving is a strong possibility. And heading to Arkansas. That happens to be his hometown so its definitely a possibility

Other than Lazzard in for Montelus (and I think it's just as likely that either one gets in), I have the exact same class on paper. I see Anzalone and Bosa pulling the trigger this weekend, Love shortly after, and then the remaining guys outside of the OL position will likely need to commit soon if they want their spot (minus Dymonte Thomas).

I won't quote everyone on defense that would be on the roster with this proposed class. We all know it. I just don't know how on earth you are not in contention for 1-2 NC with that defense. Regardless of how the offense would come together. I mean seriously people. I always wonder if recruits realize that potentional and if it weighs on their decision. Sheesh. That's nuts. *wipes the HUGE puddle of drool off his work desk.
