What? You aren't familiar with the Pittsburgh Ironmen? 1946 -1947. Yeah, they lasted one year in the BAA which became the NBA.MililaniBuckeye said:When did Pittsburgh get an NBA team?
Actually if we sign Z for starting at $10 million we can offer the Lithuanian PG (I won't attempt to butcher his name) for more than the mid-level exception. But I have a feeling if Ferry is smart will try to get him for less so we can sign some lesser guys (re-sign Traylor for a $1.5-$2 mil for ex). With two Lithuanians on the roster so far he might feel more comfortable.NJ-Buckeye said:So...both the Mid Level and $1M exception are over and beyond the cap...
The Lithuanian PG - would he fill either of these exception spots?
Daniels - does he slot in the mid level exception or would he be under the cap budget?
I wouldn't be surprised if Tarver (LBJs longtime friend/hoops mate) ends up on the Cavs roster at the minimum rate... keeps LBJ happy.. more money than Tarver would see in the real world... and he's not bad.. albeit not pro level talent... but he's not a bad college player...
I'm not sure how many people think someone who scores 22 pts per game, grabs 6.3 boards per game (as a GUARD!), dishes out almost 5 assists per game, and he gets almost 3 steals per game compared to his 2.5 turnovers per game. Good all around numbers for someone who you seem to think sucks. The only knock on him is that he can't shoot the 3 and who cares. 22 ppg is 22 ppg no matter how you score it. The three is taken care of by Jackson and Pavlovic off the bench and possibly the Lithuanian PG who can shoot the three well (BTW his name is Sarunas Jasikevicius).tibor75 said:Larry Hughes?
OH, the futility of clevleand sports continues unabated.
Don't be an outright idiot. This team went 42-40 with Ira-fucking-Newble as its starting shooting guard. We could have signed Rick Yudt and it would have been an improvement. Instead, the Cavs get a 22/6/5/3 guy. I'm ecstatic to see how well this team AND Lebron are going to improve with Larry Hughes as opposed to Ira Newble starting at SG.Larry Hughes?

Hey, do you even play basketball in Asspackinstan?
