Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

I know Z was cleared to start rehab this week. I wonder how close he is to coming back to practice? It would be great if he could start practicing as soon as they get back to town. I'd love to have him back in some capacity for the Magic game, but at the very least the Lakers game on the 8th. Best case for West is to come back right after the All-Star break.
I'd love to hear what the Bucks would want for Redd. Wally and draft picks or Pavs, Snow, Wright, and draft picks would get it done money wise. I doubt I'd give up any of the regular starting 5, Andy, Boobie, or JJ unless they can make a move for one of the class of 2010 guys like Bosh.

Watching the Cavs-Warriors game... the GS announcers are fucking annoying. LBJ hits a ridiculous 3 as the shot clock winds down, and the announcer's response was "that's who he is. He hits that but misses the easy ones..."

seirously? :shake:

meanwhile, LBJ was at 12-5-5 halfway through the 2nd quarter... fucking douchenozzle

it's really hard to pick on anything LeBron does, but I'm getting sick of him going for th ehuge block out to mid-court rather than just tapping it to a teammate.

He sets these blocks up so well, and yet he always goes for as much force as possible and he just bats it out to the opposing team and it leads to easy shots. Either tip it to a teammate or knock it out of bounds.
Oh, no. Thought you were because LBJ had a sick block, and that was basically the same comment the announcer made. LBJ is putting together a very solid game, but this one remains close near the end of the 3rd
I'm using the internet to watch, but haven't been listening.

I'd guess that over 60% of the time LeBron makes a sick block he blocks it to the other team for an open look.

He had one against LA where he literally could have caught the basketball in mid-air but hammered it off the glass instead for a nice highlight.......but the ball went directly to Fisher at half-court who made one pass to Vujacic in the corner for a 3.

It's just obvious he's going for the highlight/spectacular block vs. the less exciting tip for possesion. Hopefully he decides it's hurt the team to omany times.

If he continues to do it, it's OK though....because LeBron can do whatever he wants.

I just don't understand how guys get paid money to comment on any sport and say such stupid things as:

Jalen Rose: The Cavs are getting great contributions from Alexander Varejeo.

I mean that is a terrible quote, but I don't normally mind Jalen as a commentator. He's not the best by any means, but I don't usually want to rip out my hair when listening to him.
