Knicks set aside turmoil, embarrass Cavs

If this is the way a team responds to a public scolding from the coach, maybe Mike Brown should take note.
Two days after coach Isiah Thomas publicly questioned their heart and toughness, the host New York Knicks went out and pounded the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-90 last night in Madison Square Garden.
It was the most lopsided victory of the season for the Knicks, who shot a season-best 56.2 percent from the field and led by as many as 24 points.

What a pathetic team. Is it possible that Hughes may be retarded? He keeps shooting when he knows his shooting sucks. Pavlovic is another that continues to shoot when he knows he sucks. And, he's a turnover machine when he drives with the ball. Gibson can shoot but continues to only shoot 5 or 6 times a game.
It's painful to watch this team, yet I still do it. I am an idiot !!!
OH10;1034170; said:Please don't mob me over this, but I've been thinking for a while now... if you're a Cavs' fan, would you take Dwight Howard in a straight up deal for Lebron right now?
Think about it. Howard is on his way to becoming, if he has not done so already, the most dominant player in the the game. But he's not a media darling or an endorsement-hound. Cleveland is a city he could come to embrace, without the pressure of playing in a big market. Lebron? Not so much. If we cannot build a team around LBJ in the next two years, he's gone.
I'm not saying I would take the deal. I'm saying it's worth thinking about. And I'm asking, would you?

New York -- Defense has been the hallmark of coach Mike Brown's philosophy since he began his coaching career with the Denver Nuggets as an intern back in the 1990s.
When Brown became a head coach for the first time, three years ago with the Cavaliers, defense was the name of his game. So when the struggling New York Knicks shredded the Cavs from the inside and outside on Wednesday night, Brown was horrified.
"I'm embarrassed," Brown said. "Our defense this year has been very, very bad. Defensively, this is one of the worst performances that I've been a part of and that starts with me. I don't think it can get any worse than this."

New York- Most of the news out of New York has not been pleasant in relation to the New York Knicks and their coach Isiah Thomas.

Dwight Howard would be just as likely to bail as LeBron IMO.
OH10;1034279; said:I disagree. Dwight Howard simply is not as marketable. The lure of the big city will not be as great with him... although it would be there.
Anyway, don't mind me. I'm just a Cleveland fan already planning for Lebron's inevitable departure. Too negative for my own good.
