I have a hard time believing this is essentially the same team that played with such fire in the playoffs this summer. The East is really wide open this year, hopefully something clicks soon, because if they can play up to their capabilities and stay healthy, the potential for a run to the finals is there. I just hope Gibby starts seeing more of the minutes Snow is getting. Snow is absolutely no offensive threat whatsoever. Young or not, at least Gibson provides that capability.crazybuckfan40;693383; said:I agree it has been dissapointing and really there isnt any excuse, besides just not getting the job done...

On Wednesday it was the fraternal twin, usually the well-behaved one, that let them down. The defense, the team's strength over the past six weeks, performed at its worst level of the year. So rather than losing a drawn-out slugfest, the Cavs instead dropped a sprint 113-111 against the New Jersey Nets.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Eric Snow is close personally and professionally with Allen Iverson, and he has played for George Karl, which puts him in a interesting position to provide perspective on the trade that rocked the NBA on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers' captain gave the Denver Nuggets' acquisition an unadulterated thumbs up.
``I think knowing George Karl, knowing Allen, and knowing enough about Carmelo (Anthony), they're in the right place with the right style,'' Snow said Wednesday. ``They're two very talented players, that's undeniable. You put them on the same team with a coach that is a little more lenient than some others, and I think it is going to work.''

East Rutherford, N.J. -- Drew Gooden was like most Cavaliers fans during the off-season following the team's loss to the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
"I felt we were one rebound away from getting past the Pistons and that lingered in my mind," Gooden said. "But I knew eventually we'd get the chance to play against them again."
