OK, so basically the world wide internets have been abuzz about nothing new today and caused a firestorm because Fitzsimmons suggested that Newton's situation COULD change in 4-5 hours (ie. anytime). Awesome. I think that statement could be made about any player.

Not to say that there isn't a real firestorm here, but the one created today is all just talk. Amazing.

At this point, the Newton family is just riding the storm out. But I can't fight this feeling any more that Cam's Heisman hopes are dead at last.

I'm sure the donor to Pastor Newton's church had only good intentions, but being kind can hurt someone sometimes.
