(This is not really about Oden, but still a good story. The crowd had been chanting "one more year" and then when Titus got up to be interviewed he started out by saying something like "Well I heard all you chanting one more year, and I've talked it over with my family and I'll be coming back next year!")

And another funny moment I forgot about, Conley and Oden were being interviewed together, and the interviewer was speaking to Oden and said something like "Ok so theres a question thats on everyone's mind, and I think everyone here wants to know (*crowd holds its breath)...... what did you two have for lunch today?" Everyone laughed and after a little pause Greg leaned over and said with great dead-pan sarcasm "chicken". Hah, the kid has great comedic timing; it was pretty funny.

There is just so many possibilities and rumors going around about days and times of announcement, I'm just confused and want to know when the definite date is. But when they do announce, I wish all three of them the best of luck on the next level.

Sorry for posting twice but saw this earlier in the thread. If they were to announce tonight, it really would be a great time to announce if they said they were both coming back, but you're right, it would be a bad time to announce if they aren't returning.

that would be like the winner of the political primaries at a celebratory party and then giving a speech saying "thank you thank you we all love....i also have news that i am withdrawling my bid from the race....lets party!"

With Wright at KU, Afflalo at UCLA, and the UF guys declaring, that has to increase (if slightly) the chances that Oden and Conely will return.

Everyone was pretty relaxed. The team was crackin jokes with each other all night it seemed like, and trying to make teammates laugh while they were being interviewed (they would bring up two players at a time to be interviewed with a mic in front of the crowd).

Oden was enjoyed himself... and much more upbeat than the welcome home from Atlanta (understandable).

Harris had the market cornered on shaking legs (pre-speech jitters?)... he looked like he had a prepared speech.

I thought it was a very nice event and it is true everyone was relaxed. Oden was laughing pretty good when Titus announced that he was coming back next year. And that "Thad Matta can sleep good tonight knowing that I (Titus) will be returning." Also the autographed posters that they were giving out are awesome. Had a great time at a really nice event and I am extremely proud of my Buckeyes! :oh:
