Wagging the dog at its finest. They let slip the rumor that they're going to announce that they'll forgo their sophomore seasons and enter the draft...then blow the roof off the place when they accounce they'll stay!!

1460 reporting both Oden & Conley are expected to announce their decisions tonight at the celebration...They are expected to announce their intentions to enter the NBA Draft.

I don't see anything posted on their website (usually they immediately post there what they report on the air). I'm assuming you heard this on the air?

bboy, it's all over the scout boards as well. That rumor was definitely reported by 1460 (radio)... we'll see how it plays out.

I hope for everyone's sake that they do not turn pro until after tonight.

I've never heard of any athlete announcing their plans to go to pro at a public forum like a season celebration. It's always done at a press conference.

1460 is not generally prone to reporting unconfirmed rumors, so you gotta give this report a good amount of credibility.

^^ Tywont Lawson and Tyler Hansbrough did it. Ty did what a poster here is hoping for. He said he'd leave, which created silence in the crowd, and then went back a few second later and said he'd come back, to the cheers of many.

Apparently 1460 the Fan has adjusted their reporting and now considers that there will be no announcements tonight.
