Canal Winchester 87, Centennial 57

B.J. Mullens was 22 of 25 from the field and scored 48 points, and Canal Winchester (19-2) pulled away from Centennial (2-20) in a Division II sectional final at Gahanna.
Mullens also had 11 rebounds.
Darrell Chenault scored 16 points for Centennial.

I believe the rosters are put together with balance in mind.....it doesn't always stick to maps.......

Once again....they like to have balanced teams......and they focus on having several players at each position if possible.

I believe they try to do that with most all-star games, not just McDonalds or basketball for that matter. One thing that I did notice is that there are 4 big men on each team and the two best are on the west, Monroe and Mullens.

B.J. Mullens and William Buford will represent Ohio State in the 2008 McDonald's All-American Game, which will be played March 26 in Milwaukee. Mullens, a 7-1 center, is ranked as the No. 6 prospect in the country by ESPN. Buford, a 6-5 shooting guard, is ranked as the No. 11 prospect in America. No kidding. I went to Centennial for three years--1999 to 2002. I think it's the worst school in columbus public school history as far as sports go.
