Seriously people. Five bucks each. Five fuckin' bucks each would be enough to last awhile. I've had a rough patch for about a year now. No steady work, despite applying at places I'm embarrassed to admit I've applied to, yet I somehow managed to cough up more than five bucks. This site is worth far more than five bucks a piece. Cough up some cash. So your kids don't eat for a day. Will it kill them? Probably not.

If ten new donors cough up five bucks a piece, I promise not to post for a week.

Ok, I get paid in about 10 days, I will cover enough for 5 people just so I don't have to read Buckyle for a while. Okay, I am just kiddin'....:biggrin: about Buckyle not the $25 bucks.....

Yes, we're up by 20 people over all of last year in just 5 months - 60 more than had donated at this same time last year! I'm very pleased that the number participating has gone up, especially because so many people are having it kind of rough right now. People have stretched for this, and that really keeps my faith in humanity intact, and the impact on Clarity has been tremendous.

Here's the 12-month total for last year (March to March).

The drive started in March like this year's, and here's a post from 7/30/08:

A big difference is that last year, SportsWar was picking up and made the big difference the rest of the year, which is why when I asked Clarity about a fall drive he said to hold off as he could manage without it. The rest came in trickles over the rest of the year, and through monthly donations.

This year, the ads probably aren't going to replace a fall drive, so we'll need to keep on rolling. Working on it, though - a few nice leads came in today.
