However, as much of a fan that I am not of Coach Kelly, he makes a very valid point in that, regardless of schedule, conference, etc. the challenge and effort it takes to win this many games at this level should not go unnoticed and earns the right to play in the big dance. As an OSU fan, I do appreciate his support of the Buckeyes.

Good to see coach supporting OSU. I DO think that OSU will run the ball better on MSU than the Irish did, and heres why: Braxton Miller. MSU crowded the line of scrimmage against the Irish because Tommy Rees isn't a threat to run with the ball, and he has limited arm strength. I think surprising enough that it was through the air that the Irish caught MSU off guard. Tommy basically heaved the ball long on the outside a number of times and more than once his receivers were able to get behind MSU and get to it, or MSU was forced to draw a PI penalty. Braxton is more mobile than Tommy though, and throws a better long ball, so MSU will need to respect that. They'll be more honest, won't crowd the LOS, which I think will allow OSU to run the ball better.

On the one hand, what's he supposed to say? He can't just go out there and shit on his quarterbacks to the press by telling the truth. I certainly wouldn't want Urban Meyer saying he'd trade one of our position groups for a different set of players. Doesn't matter if it's true or not - it's not good for the program to do that so I understand to an extent why Kelly said what he did. His worst sin isn't his actual answer, it's that he gave one at all.

On the other hand, gimme a break. Ohio State's quarterbacks play school better, let alone football.

The biggest issue for Ntre Ame fans is Kelly probably believes this bullshit...
